Into the Candle-Lit Room. I have a tendency to read fantasy novels, which is why I was drawn to this book. The format is unsusal, consisting of 2 diaries, 1 set of letters, 1 narrative, and 1 college application form. The stories were all connected, usually in a subtle way, like a name would appear in one story and then in the next. Within each story, hints would be dropped about the outcome, but the ending would still be a complete surprise (don't cheat and look ahead!)
