I bought this to read at an elementary read-in. The little kids (ages 5-8) didn't like it as much as the 3rd and 4th graders. Maybe the concept was a little too much for them, but I think it's great to introduce these types of word plays early on.

The font came out all wrong- I'm not sure how it happened but many of the palindromes were messed up.

Was rather disappointed in this book. I'm not a fan of the artwork, but at least my students enjoyed and benefited from some of the pages and now have an idea of what a palindrome is.

Great for a 5 year old!

My granddaughter could not put this down...she found it compelling.

Bob has a story to tell. He starts by telling you his name is nothing serious to the reader but it almost did him in(literally as the word Bob is about to fall on him). The other day his teacher taught the class about palindromes and the only one in class with a name that is a Palindrome is poor old Bob.

Much to his dismay he learns palindromes are everywhere! Even mom and dad are palindromes!

Bob, in a panic, runs through the city and finds even more palindromes!

In the end he figures out they are just words and nothing to be afraid.

This was a cute book. The artwork really helps with the pod people approach to the story line.

My daughter wanted it read many times and has read it a few times her self. Mark of a good book!

One of our favorites, and a great birthday gift for the Annas and Eves in your life.
Cute story for introducing children to palindromes which will be needed for language arts in 2nd or 3rd grade. I was disappointed that the paperback book arrived in "used" condition. It did not arrive looking like a new book.
