Eric Fein and artist Eduardo Garcia have done a good job abridging and adapting this interwoven story into graphic form. Because this is the story that begins the 1,001 Nights, they also had to explain the framing story of Scheherezade, which makes the whole thing a little rushed, but it is still easy to understand, and they kept the important bits of the story. This series of Arabian Nights tales is living up to my expectations.
