The Branemark Osseointegrated Implant ebook

In the 1970s Professor Per-Ingvar Branemark and his colleagues at the University of Gothenburg produced clinical evidence of a long-awaited breakthrough in prosthodontics - artificial tooth root analogs for edentulous jaws. Furthermore, their research showed the predictable, long-lasting response of osseointegration.Recently, the research and clinical applications of osseointegration have grown to include single tooth replacement and over-dentures. Research and Interest have also expanded into the new and exciting areas of extraoral application and orthopedics.
